The wine is made as a very attractive spring and summer time Semillon Sauvignon Blanc and has fruit flavours of lemon, grapefruit and tropical fruits. There is a textural mid palate richness evident in the wine due in part to its barrel-fermentation. The finish is unctuous and well rounded. more info

My winemaking belief is that good fruit should be treated gently and with minimal intervention.  The Bress Non Vintage Heathcote & Bendigo Shiraz was treated in this manner.  A combination of whole bunch and gently crushed fruit fermentations occurred in open fermenters.

The wine is deliberately made as a sweeter style Gewurztraminer. It has very attractive Gewurztraminer flavours of lycee, rose petal, cinnamon spice and green skinned fruit. There is a textural mid palate richness evident in the wine due to the prolonged fermentation. The finish is unctuous, well rounded and has a lovely acid balance which ensures the wine is not cloying. more info
