The wine is tightly packed full of black fruit, spice, cloves, and liquorice.  The grape tannins are soft and are beautifully integrated into the wine, giving the wine structure and adding power, balance and a savoury richness.

 The wine is deliberately made as a sweeter style Riesling. It has
very attractive Riesling flavours of marmalade, cinnamon spice and green
skinned fruit. There is a textural mid palate richness evident in the wine due
to the prolonged fermentation. The finish is unctuous, well rounded and has
a lovely acid balance which ensures the wine is not cloying.

This wine should be decanted prior to serving.

Whilst enjoyable now, this wine will reward careful cellaring for 10 years.
