We have some great events planned for Summer and Autumn.  We also understand that you may wish to host your own function at Bress.  If so, we are able to do pretty much anything. The Bress kitchen re-opens with our Mediterranean menu

An Age Good Food Guide Rated establishment for 2010, 2011 & 2012. 

At Bress we aim to create a casual atmosphere of celebration so dining is a shared table experience. This season we are exploring a rustic Mediterranean theme.  We endeavour to use as much freshly picked produce from our two vegetable gardens and other ingredients are sourced locally where possible.

Lunches are a 3 course set menu affair with an emphasis on family style shared platters. Cost is $40.00 per adult, $15.00 per child and free for those under 6.  

Dietary requirements are catered for in most instances.  Just ask!

The Australia Day Brewers vs Winemakers cricket match

A Great Bress Day! Micro brewers and winemakers battle it out over drinks and cricket.  The brewers just won last year.  Will they do it again?  Come and see for yourself?

A special Australia Day menu will be served.  Lunch is $45.00 per adult, $15.00 per child and free for those under 6.

Bress Paella Day

The national dish of Spain comes to Bress, when we prepare this dish in front of our guests in especially large Paella pans.  Great ingredients from Casa Ibercia will be served throughout this 3 course Spanish inspired meal.

The Bress Spit Roasted Pork luncheon our all time favourite

We will spit roast our specially marinated pork on our huge 600kg spit along with a range of wood fire roasted vegetables. We also serve our starters and desserts making it a three course gourmet delight.  Cost is $55.00 per person with our wines and ciders available at Bress Friend’s rates.

Fringe Food Festival's cider making course and pig off

The Melbourne Fringe Food Festival is doing some great things and they have asked us to conduct a cider making day and of course who are we to say no! So we will spend time in the orchard, identify and taste different cider apple varieties, learn production techniques and bench mark tasting practices. 

Don’t worry it is not all work for lunch will feature a Wessex Saddleback pig cooked a number of ways.  Cost is $100.00 per person for the day all inclusive.
