Bress new season garlic offer

We harvested our largest and best quality crop of garlic to date in December and have allowed it to dry during January.  It is now available for sale to our Bress Friends online.

It has been grown using biodynamic practices and has amazing flavour.  We will ship it in 1 kg packs direct to your nominated address.  1 kilogram equates to approximately 20 to 22 medium sized heads.

The price is $36.00 per kilo, including freight.

Due to quarantine regulations we cannot ship to Tasmania, South Australia or Western Australia.  Sorry!

Calendar of Events for Summer/Autumn 2011

We have a great lineup of Bress Events in store - some new ones and some old favourites. We started off the year with the annual Winemakers vs Brewers cricket match on Australia Day. The Brewers were victorious for the first time. It was a cracker day!

FEBRUARY

Saturday 5th - Paella Day

The iconic Spanish dish Paella comes to Bress! We will prepare it in front of our guests in a massive Paella pan.  Fabulous ingredients from Casa Iberica will be served throughout this 3 course Spanish inspired meal.  The cost is $45.00 per person with our wines and ciders available at Bress Friends’ rates.

MARCH

Sunday 27th - Bress Spit Roasted Pork luncheon… our all time favourite!

Join us when we spit roast an enormous seasoned loin of pork on our huge 600kg spit and serve it with delicious vegetables roasted in the woodfired oven. Lunch will start with a tasting plate of our Mediterranean inspired treats and finish with something sweet, making it a three course feast.  
The cost is $55.00 per person with our wines and ciders available at Bress Friends’ rates.

APRIL

Sunday 3rd - Family pizza day!

This was a great hit last year. Have fun with all the family making pizzas and cooking them in our wood fired ovens. The kids will love this chance to be their own “Masterchef” and learn how to make great pizzas. Our 2 course lunch is $30.00 per adult, $ 15.00 per child (free for those under 6).

Saturday 9th - Cassoulet Day

One of the truly great dishes of Southern France will be the feature dish in this three course French gastronomic experience. Those dressed as Frenchies will receive a complimentary glass of wine or cider and the best dressed French person will win a mixed six pack of our wines and ciders.
The cost is $45.00 per person with our wines and ciders available at Bress Friends’ rates.

Saturday 30th - Bress Intermediate Wine Course

Bress winemaker Adam Marks has been conducting wine education classes for over 15 years and takes great delight in introducing people to the joys and mysteries of wine.  This course is a perfect refresher for those with enough wine knowledge to be dangerous but if you are new to wine, Adam will bring you up to speed in no time.

The course is $95 per person and includes wine, notes and a three course lunch.

MAY

Sunday 8th - Bress Mother’s Day Lunch

Our favourite lunch day of the year!  Come and treat your mother to a special three course lunch. The cost is $40.00 per person with our wines and ciders available at Bress Friends’ rates. Mothers will receive a complimentary glass of cider or wine.
